As Featured on a Recent CBS News Interview, Long Island Attorney David Raimondo has filed a new Class Action Lawsuit against the Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency (TPVA) on behalf of Robert McGrath and all Vehicle Owners who received Red Light Camera Tickets in Suffolk County since 2013.
The complaint alleges that TPVA illegally added a $30 administrative fee to the Red Light Camera Tickets despite overwhelming proof that there is absolutely no cost to Suffolk County to operate the Red Light Camera Program. The Contract between Xerox and Suffolk County stipulates that Suffolk County is not responsible to pay for any aspect of operating or maintaining this program.

The Contract Between Xerox and Suffolk County Specifies that the County will not pay anything to operate this program other than to split the revenue with Xerox. Below is an excerpt from Amendment three to the contract. Click here to read the entire contract.
